Questions by Mary Answers by me
What was the last book you read?
Fledge is a book about a moms journey with faith as she enters the emptiness as her kids go off to college. As a step parent to 3 older kids 2 of which are not living at home and one on his way out the door soon. I only have our 11 year old left this book helps other parents know we are not alone I highly suggest reading it plus it’s from one of my dear speakup conference friends I personally know and she is local to Michigan. Link to her book below
If you could change place with one character who would you choose?
I never know who to pick I have read a ton of great books. It’s a difficult choice. I’ll pass on this one
What is your go-to social media?
I would have to say Instagram I think pictures sometimes say more about a person then writing can any day
Which book made you laugh out loud?
Wonder Auggie Pullman, an ordinary boy with an extraordinary face with Bella and I having 22q deletion syndrome digeorge we connected with all of the characters but Bella and I read it and we laughed at the farting nurse jokes the most
What is the worst book you’ve ever read?
Do I really have to answer that one? I really don’t want to say anything negative. There are a few books out there.
Do you prefer physical books or ebooks?
I’d have to say both. I like eBooks/kindle copies because if I’m out and about it’s easier to carry, and read. I do love physical books, for the smell, the texture of the paper, hearing the pages while you turn the pages.
What is your most anticipated sequel?
I am most looking forward to When life gives you Lululemons
When Life Gives You Lululemons by Lauren Weisberger
New York Times bestselling author Lauren Weisberger returns with a novel starring one of her favorite characters from The Devil Wears Prada—Emily Charlton, first assistant to Miranda Priestly, now a highly successful image consultant who’s just landed the client of a lifetime.
Welcome to Greenwich, CT, where the lawns and the women are perfectly manicured, the Tito’s and sodas are extra strong, and everyone has something to say about the infamous new neighbor.
Let’s be clear: Emily Charlton, Miranda Priestly’s ex-assistant, does not do the suburbs. She’s working in Hollywood as an image consultant to the stars, but recently, Emily’s lost a few clients. She’s hopeless with social media. The new guard is nipping at her heels. She needs a big opportunity, and she needs it now.
Karolina Hartwell is as A-list as they come. She’s the former face of L’Oreal. A mega-supermodel recognized the world over. And now, the gorgeous wife of the newly elected senator from New York, Graham, who also has his eye on the presidency. It’s all very Kennedy-esque, right down to the public philandering and Karolina’s arrest for a DUI—with a Suburban full of other people’s children.
Miriam is the link between them. Until recently she was a partner at one of Manhattan’s most prestigious law firms. But when Miriam moves to Greenwich and takes time off to spend with her children, she never could have predicted that being stay-at-home mom in an uber-wealthy town could have more pitfalls than a stressful legal career.
Emily, Karolina, and Miriam make an unlikely trio, but they desperately need each other. Together, they’ll navigate the social landmines of life in America’s favorite suburb on steroids, revealing the truths—and the lies—that simmer just below the glittering surface. With her signature biting style, Lauren Weisberger offers a dazzling look into another sexy, over-the-top world, where nothing is as it appears.

okay can you tell l’m geeking out over this book.
Which book deserves a movie/tv show?
Small great things
When a newborn baby dies after a routine hospital procedure, there is no doubt about who will be held responsible: the nurse who had been banned from looking after him by his father. What the nurse, her lawyer and the father of the child cannot know is how this death will irrevocably change all of their lives, in ways both expected and not. Small Great Things is about prejudice and power; it is about that which divides and unites us. It is about opening your eyes
What do you do when you’re not reading (job, school, full-time blogging?
When I’m not reading you can find me taking pictures going on hikes with the family, curled up with my laptop entering sweeps, contest and giveaways. couponing blogging and mentoring other parents who have children with special needs. Working on editing my second book. I’m working on a 3 book set series I hope to publish maybe one day
What’s the best part of blogging? Worst?
The best part of blogging for me is reading, writing and discovering new brands and Ideas. But it is a mixture of it all – reading, writing, networking with others, making friends with other’s who you would have never met otherwise; in the form of other bloggers, photographers authors, and book lovers. Other nerdy people like myself The worst part for me I would have to say graphics. I know I’m not great at making “likeable” or “clickable” graphics like many others can. I know if I took a course that might make me change my mind about it being the worst. keeping mary’s answers for this one I totally agree only I have to add I hate SEO with a passion I think it kills authentic blogging it’s a necessary evil
