Bella has asked me to invite as many as I can to come out and cheer Bella on. This will be her very last girls on the run race as she moving on to middle school (6th grade) in the Fall.
Thursday May 23, 2019 at 6:00 pm the race starts.
This will be Bella 3rd time running this race
If you can not be there in person this is the spot to cheer her on.
As you know Mommiesquietplace is runned by myself it is not a charity I put a lot of time and effort into my website and I do not take donations from needy family’s who have 22q.
My goal is grass roots awareness about this little known genetic disorder and share about the ups and downs we have faced.
Even though Bella has mild form of cerebral palsy and 22qll1.2 deletion syndrome also known as DiGeorge syndrome it has not stopped her. you may see this post and not want to read the good stuff we have going on in our world we also have some hard things we deal with but I focus on the positive because I have a mini me watching my every move.
Bella has seen me stick with things that are hard and difficult and how I manage my own health issues. I have leg pains and 22q as well. I don’t have mild cerebral palsy that was a result of a high risk complicated pregancy I had which resulted with the amazing Bella you all see in our posts.
I want to not give false hope but to remind parents of kids who are just diagonsed to keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep pressing forward. The journey is not as short as a 5k (3miles) sometimes it’s a tri athletalon that never ends. It’s not going to be easy but it sure is worth it.
To show the “EXPERTS” that not all kids with 22q are doomed. Our lives matter all life matters
Thanks so much for reading.
