I am a busy (SAHM) mom blogger who is almost never at home I have started going back to school I didn't graduate high school so now in my very late 30's I am getting my adult education completion certification. I'm not sure what I want to do afterwords. I spent so much time caregiving for my special needs child who also has the same genetic issue I have called 22q11.2 she also has mild cerebral palsy adhd and a few other issues we addressed in Ot, Pt and speech. Rambling but that's how this website started I just needed a place on the internet to get the ramblings out of my head. I live in Michigan with my husband and daughter and I am a step mom to three young adults with one step son still living at home. I am a young almost empty nester I am very late 30 something years old married to a man 11 years older. Born and raised in Toronto Ontario, This big city girl lives in a small town in Michigan. I was bored one day and wanted to start a blog what a journey it has been. Will you join me on my adventures? you can read about the ups and downs of having a genetic disposition that everyone seems to be so scared of but I show you it's ont as scary as people make it out to be.
I share the journey of our life living with multiple health issues and having a genetic disorder called 22q11.2 deletion syndrome (DiGeorge) or 22q for short My story is about how one family copes with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, cerebral palsy our daughter has dual diagnoses and other health issues that come from having a genetic disorder. I love connecting with other family's to share—the good, the bad and the unbelievably messy. (why are kids and hubby's so messy?) I don't have a cure for messy hubbys or kids but I do review products and services I find helpful along the way. I also enjoy entering giveaways. I'm not a fan of hosting giveaways but I do love to make my readers something special every now an then. Read on for insight and advice from my personal first hand experience and connect with other moms who've been in the trenches.
